The new CUBORO book not only offers many tips and tricks about CUBORO as well as building plans, but also a wealth of quizzes. This fascinating mental sport is the ideal training for building ingenious marble runs, both for CUBORO newcomers and advanced players. In this gloomy fall weather, quizzes are the ideal remedy for boredom, even for older children. But adults can also cut their teeth on the tricky tasks. A look at our CUBORO everyday team life proves this.
There is a fixed date in the CUBORO team agenda: The quiz challenge of the month. Every month, Sebastian, our CEO, puts us to the test with a new quiz exercise. The search for suitable solutions challenges even experienced CUBORO players again and again and sometimes even makes them despair. Sebastian always finds tasks that make us break out in a sweat.
During the process of creating the book, we of course tested all the quizzes. Many of the possible solutions in the book come from our monthly quiz challenge. In the book, you always find the quiz challenge on the front page and possible solutions on the back page. This keeps things exciting and makes cheating more difficult. The quizzes are divided into three categories: 1) Start/Finish: The starting and endings elements are given here. The aim is to connect the elements with a suitable course. 2) Sections: The quiz specifies a few course elements that should be cleverly integrated into a complete marble run. 3) Base: This quiz category specifies the base area on which the marble run is to be built. Have you ever tried to construct a marble run on a cross-shaped base?
Of course, we have also combined the categories in the new CUBORO book, which leads to even trickier quizzes. Sebastian always provides us with different CUBORO sets for our monthly challenges. Each Extra Set offers new possible solutions for the quiz challenges.
In use in the classroom
The quizzes not only provide entertainment, but also foster logical thinking and nutures the ability to solve problems. By testingout and analyzing solutions, problem-solving skills are encouraged and cause-and-effect relationships are reflected upon. The quizzes make it possible to train spatial perception in a playful way and to experiment in three-dimensional space. The quizzes therefore find their way into the classroom time and again, where they playfully challenge and encourage children and young people in various settings.
